Where was Utah interracial marraige law in 1967?

This LA Times editorial says "Through the 1950s and 1960s, more than a dozen states repealed their bans on interracial marriage, but by June 1967, 16 states still clung to them. Even at that late date, it took the Supreme Court to enforce justice on behalf of a minority."

I wonder if Utah was one of those 16 states. After all it would take the church another 11 years to receive the revelation lifting the ban on blacks holding the Priesthood. Any know the history of that issue in Utah?
